She grips her stomach with both hands: the cabaret artist Hazel Brugger is expecting a child.
"For everyone who thought there was only shitty news in 2020 - here's something good: I'm pregnant!" Wrote the 26-year-old on Instagram.
The Swiss born in the USA also published a statement on Twitter, but was brief: "I'm pregnant," wrote Brugger there - and apparently unsettled many users.
In addition to numerous congratulations, there were initially suspicions that it could just be a joke by the cabaret artist.
After all, Brugger is known for her dry sense of humor.
In the meantime, however, the cabaret artist's management confirmed the pregnancy.
Brugger is best known for appearing as an external reporter for the ZDF "heute-show", to whose ensemble she belongs.
In 2017 she won the German Cabaret Award and the cabaret award "Salzburger Stier" as well as the German Comedy Award for "Best Newcomer".
