The US actor Shia LaBeouf has to answer again in court.
As reported by the LA Times, among others, LaBeouf was charged with assault and theft after an incident in June.
The charges were therefore already brought last week, and this has now been confirmed by a court in Los Angeles.
The public prosecutor applied for an arrest warrant against the 34-year-old.
Hat theft followed a battle of words
La Beouf is said to have used violence against another man - and ultimately stole his hat.
According to the newspaper, spokesmen for LaBeouf initially did not confirm the allegations.
According to the US media, the dispute was preceded by a battle of words between the men.
The actor has repeatedly come into conflict with the law in the past.
In 2017, he was sentenced to a one-year suspended sentence for public drunkenness and obstruction of justice.
He had previously been arrested several times for minor offenses.
Most recently, in the film "Honey Boy", he dealt with growing up with his alcohol and drug addicted father.
The actor has processed the experiences of his childhood of domestic violence in his screenplay debut and plays his own father in the film.
