While the quarantine is on track to complete 200 days, the Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed this Friday
312 new deaths and another 14,687 positive cases
of coronavirus, a new daily record of infections, exceeding the 14,392 of last Wednesday.
In addition to being the third consecutive day above 14,000 infected, Argentina was today the fourth country with the most cases on the day, only surpassed by the United States, India and Brazil.
After the burden of almost 3,000 deaths in the province of Buenos Aires,
the fatality rate jumped to 2.7%
over confirmed infections and the specific mortality rate is located at 447 people per million inhabitants.
According to official information,
two million
PCR
tests have been exceeded
to date, with a figure of 44,141 per million inhabitants.
In the last 24 hours, 24,662 tests were carried out for the disease, with a positivity of 51.7% in the City, 42.1% in the AMBA and 59.4% in the rest of the country.
The Undersecretary of Health Strategies,

specified that of the 14,000 confirmed cases on Thursday, 45.2% were reported in the City and province of Buenos Aires and 54.8% in the rest of the country.

, reported that, "to the 17 provinces that had community transmission, two more were added: Catamarca and San Luis."
