Singer and creator Aviv Geffen wrote today (Saturday) on his Twitter account that he spoke earlier with Shlomi Shabbat, who contracted Corona last week and was hospitalized this morning at Beilinson Hospital after feeling unwell.
"He sounds in a good mood, I wish him a speedy recovery," Geffen wrote.
Just a few days ago, the 66-year-old Shabbat posted a post on his Instagram account in which he updated his followers that he was feeling well, thanked the thousands who demanded his safety and noted how much the wishes he received warmed his heart.

Although Geffen's tweet has received more than a thousand likes so far, quite a few surfers reacted sarcastically to the singer's update: "You're finally helpful in something," tweeted one surfer.
Others added: "Good to hear, did you talk to Trump too?", "Are we worried about you being allowed to tweet, the doctors have approved you?"
And "When Aviv Geffen becomes an update page for Shlomi Shabbat, you can know that 2020 is completely freaking out."
Shabbat joined a number of other celebrities who fell ill in Corona and had to be hospitalized, including Lior Kalfon and Shlomi Saranga.
Actor and director Yehuda Barkan also recently fell ill in Corona and was hospitalized.
