Germany has reached the psychological threshold of 300,000 infected, Belgium has 10,000 deaths, in France there are almost 17 thousand new cases: relevant data, if compared with the rush of coronavirus throughout Europe.

The continent is now resigned to a return to restrictions in order to suffer less damage than the first wave of the pandemic, which in the meantime does not allow to breathe even thousands of kilometers away.

India, for example, has reached over 100 thousand victims and almost 6 million and 500 thousand infections.

And in the coming weeks it could reach the US, currently with 7 million and 300 thousand cases and grappling with Trump's positivity.

In the last 48 hours, the epidemic in Germany has registered a number of new infections that have not been seen since April, up to 2,600.

The total is over 298,000, so much so that in recent days the government has promised fines to violators of movement restrictions.

In the country, however, there are still those who persist in refusing protective measures.

A human chain of around 1,500 people formed on the shores of Lake Constance, on the border with Switzerland, to protest against the masks.

The demonstration broke up in a short time and there were no accidents.

But it was nonetheless a signal after the 'denier' rallies that gathered tens of thousands of people in Berlin last summer.

In Belgium, the constant increase in the number of victims is of particular concern, reaching 10,037, with a very high average in the last week.

While the infections grow by 12%.

Russia in the meantime broke another record, over 9,800 infections in 24 hours, never so many since May 15.

Spain and France are confirmed as the European epicenter of the autumn epidemic.

"Madrid, capital cerrada (closed)" was the all-day opening title on the Pais website.

From Friday at 10 pm the 3 million and 200 thousand residents, but also visitors, cannot leave the capital without a justified reason, health or work.

And the same goes for the inhabitants of 9 other municipalities in the region.

Local authorities, fearing an economic backlash, resisted Sanchez's tightening for 48 hours, but then gave in.

In the neighborhoods, the atmosphere seemed unreal, with the citizens diligently staying at home.

And there was no dreaded escape from the city before closing, scheduled for at least 14 days.

In France, which recorded 16,972 new cases in 24 hours, a record since the end of the lockdown last spring.

The positivity rate is also starting to rise again, tonight at 7.9%.

There have been 49 deaths since yesterday, for a total of 32,198.

And we are approaching the fateful day of Monday, when further restrictions could apply, especially in Paris.
