The police in Baden-Württemberg pulled a driver out of traffic on Wednesday morning who was too drunk even for a breath alcohol test.
The officers noticed the woman when she drove past a patrol car and then hid in a parking lot in her car, as the police in Ravensburg announced.
"During the inspection it was immediately clear to the law enforcement officers why: The woman was so drunk that she couldn't even take a breath alcohol test," the police report said.
The officers noticed a strong smell of alcohol and found a half-empty bottle of liquor.
The driver therefore had to undergo a blood sample in a clinic, and the officials withheld her driver's license.
The driver now has to answer for being drunk in traffic.
