Animal use in Alsdorf: cows on the street

They stood in front of the town hall, a cinema and on the street: the police and fire brigade were on duty in Alsdorf near Aachen because of 16 free-range cows.
The animals were rounded up in front of a discounter on Thursday night, the fire brigade announced on Facebook.
Another cow was found by a patrol car.
Until the farmer arrived, the animals were held at the supermarket with fire lines and a patrol car in a makeshift pen.
The farmer finally transported the cows away with a trailer.
