With next weekend's exhibitions it will be possible to travel between different eras and languages, from van Gogh with his powerful colors to the courageous experiments of Carla Accardi, alongside the suffering and hopeful face of Italy wounded by the pandemic in the shots of international photographers and history of the thriller genre in the images of the Rai archives.

PADUA - A powerful selection of 82 paintings and drawings by van Gogh to tell the crucial points and the lesser known aspects of his life, shedding light on some fundamental periods lived by the painter, from the Dutch one to the French time lived in Paris, Provence and Auvers-sur-Oise.

MILAN - From 8 October to 27 June in the spaces of the Museo del Novecento "Carla Accardi. Contexts", curated by Anna Maria Montaldo and Maria Grazia Messina: first monographic dedicated by a public institution to Carla Accardi (1924-2014) , six years after his death, the exhibition presents 70 works including paintings, plastics (sicofoil) and installations, together with photographs and documents from the Accardi Sanfilippo Archive, to document the historical, social and political context with which the artist was related, also revealing the linguistic comparisons with other artists and his courage to experiment at a time when the instances of painting were almost male competence.
