We are all in a digital hell that tortures and spies on us: its name is GAFA (Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple).

This is the legion of demons ready to let us damn: inextricable tangles of battery chargers, porn videos posted on the net without our knowledge, call center voices that we inevitably fall in love with, immoderate desire for likes, cyberbullying and addiction to TV series.

Here are just some of the devilry we are surrounded by told by 'Unexpected Digital' by Benoît Delépine and Gustave Kervern, an irreverent satirical comedy typically French in the hall from Thursday 15 October with Officine Ubu.

    This is the story.

We are in a suburb like many others where three neighbors live struggling with the digital world and social media.

There's Marie (Blanche Gardin, top French comedian), a lonely woman after her teenage son moved in with her ex-husband, who is at one point involved in trying to get a video deleted from the network. he takes her back into sexual activity.

Bertrand (Denis Podalydès), on the other hand, is a fifty-year-old who can't resist the calls of a certain Miranda, the obsessive voice of a call center who, while offering him anything, has forcefully entered his erotic imagination.

Finally, there is Christine (Corinne Masiero), a no longer young woman who lost her job due to her addiction to TV series (she also saw it for twenty consecutive hours).

Now, after some sort of rehabilitation, she works at Uber, but believes that the rating she is given is significantly lower than the quality of her performance as a driver.

It must be said that these three characters alone can do very little and so at some point they think well to join forces against digital.

Eventually they will find a God to rely on - a powerful hacker whom the three comrades turn to to solve their problems and who operates inside a wind turbine.

"As long as we face the windmills - say the directors of a wonderful and biting film like Mammuth starring Depardieu -, we can also face the greatest of all: the GAFA. Our three heroes, with their little daily worries, are totally crushed by this infernal machine, that is the omnipotence of digital technology, but at some point something will push them to act together to find salvation ".
