Clint Eastwood is ready to return to work:
The legendary star, who celebrated his 90th birthday this year, will direct the nomadic drama "Cry Macho" and star in the lead role as a former rodeo star who embarks on a trip from Mexico to Texas with a torn boy between his parents.
In the process, the two will learn some new things about life and overcome various difficulties.
Although the film has not yet officially received a "green light" from Warner Studios, according to reports in the Hollywood media Eastwood has already begun selecting filming sites.
"Cry Macho," based on a book published in 1975, has been on Eastwood's sights for decades, and certainly sounds like a perfect project for him.
The last film in which Eastwood combined directing and acting was "The Mule," which came out in 2018.
Last year, Eastwood directed "Richard Joule" - a controversial (but box office-successful) drama that told the story of an American security guard who was accused of planting a bomb at the Atlanta Olympics.
