From the porter to the entrepreneur, 500 representatives of the world of events descended on Piazza Duomo, in Milan, filling it with trunks, those same "flight cases" that every day accompany those who work in the sector, which in recent months have become a symbol of an international mobilization that today it has also arrived in Italy.

The non-profit cultural association Bip, which includes Fabio Pazzini, event manager and production manager, organized the 'Bauli in piazza' appointment: "like many colleagues - he tells ANSA - I have been stopped since February, there is someone who works, but they are very small things because at this moment there is no economic sustainability, all the summer events have been financed by public bodies, we have gathered in the square all the workers and representatives of the companies working in the sector, from the promoters of events and concerts to audio-lighting services because it is important to demonstrate to politics that there is a united sector that asks for one thing with a single voice: to be able to start again and earn our daily bread by ourselves ".

    But how to do it?

"The rules in place are to be reviewed - says Pazzini - it is essential that they are clear and uniform at national level, because with loose rules and left to the discretion of the various local authorities there can be no planning".

And then "the rules must be reviewed so that they allow us to make the events profitable, that a theater that holds 2,500 seats can accommodate 200 is a legal nonsense".

"We don't want - underlines Pazzini - to be confused with the deniers, but we want this problem to be addressed in today's context".

Today's appointment, which was attended by bassist Saturnino and many representatives of the category, could be followed by a new garrison in Rome: "we will see the solicitude of the interlocutor, if they do not respond to the call - announces Pazzini - we will continue our protest also louder and louder ".

Always with today's 500 trunks, which the services have emptied and made available to everyone.
