The police secured kilos of counterfeit money after a find in Bretzfeld, Baden-Württemberg

Children playing found kilos of false two-euro coins in a stream in the Hohenlohe district of Baden-Württemberg.
The children's father called the officers after they discovered a two-kilogram bag of coins in the "Mühlgraben", the police said.
The incident took place on Sunday in Bretzfeld.
With the help of the fire brigade, a total of 45 kilograms of coins were finally lifted out of the stream on Sunday evening.
According to the police, the value of the coins would be at least 10,000 euros - if they were real.
The two-euro pieces quickly turned out to be counterfeit money.
The investigators are now looking for witnesses who can give clues to the unknown disposers.
