(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 12 - "A general lockdown" as in spring "would not be the right thing" but at the same time "we cannot let the disease run its course: this would lead to many deaths and the health system would be overwhelmed".
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said this when communicating to the British Parliament the decision to introduce a lockdown with "three levels" of severity of restrictions depending on the areas of the Kingdom.
