Auctions: Paris, dinosaur skeleton sold for over 3 million

(ANSA) - PARIS, OCTOBER 13 - An allosaurus skeleton, one of the oldest dinosaurs in the world, considered as the 'grandfather' of the feared T-Rex, was auctioned in Paris for more than 3 million euros , a figure equivalent to double the initial estimate.

150 million years old, ten meters long and 3.5 meters high, the allosaurus was bought by an anonymous buyer at the Hotel Drouot in Paris.
