While the Corona Cabinet is discussing exit quarantine - the daily number of infected is far from the 2,000 diagnosed: 

according to data from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Tuesday) in the last 24 hours, 3,112 new patients were diagnosed in 47,301 tests.

Remember, according to the Ministry of Health, the beginning of the relief in the closure will be possible when the daily rate of infections reaches about 2,000 a day (when the total number of tests should be at least 30,000).

In the calculation of all tests, the positive rate is 6.5 percent.

From midnight to 6:22 p.m., 30,689 tests were performed.

The results of 1,424 of them were found to be positive.

After deducting repeated tests aimed at diagnosing recovery, the midnight infection rate as of the time of publication of the data stands at 4.9 percent.

There are 50,778 active patients in Israel.

The death toll from the virus rose by 14 to 2,040.

1,464 corona patients are hospitalized in the hospitals, 802 of them in critical condition.

254 of them are connected to soul machines.

The condition of 264 people was defined as moderate.

As published earlier in "Israel Today", experts from the Hebrew University expect a reduction in hospital congestion and a decrease to about 200 critically ill patients, along with reaching the destination mentioned above, but only towards the end of next week.

Also, there are 1,714 health staff members who are in isolation: 169 physicians, 459 nurses, and 1,086 in other professions.
