In an intimate ceremony conditioned by the coronavirus pandemic situation, the Neuss family fired

Silvia Saravia de Neuss (69)

this Tuesday morning

, victim of a femicide, committed by her husband, businessman

Jorge Neuss (72)

.

Everything happened in the Recoleta cemetery.

With a particular image: both were fired together, at the same time, victim and perpetrator, in a ceremony reduced to 20 people.

The vehicle with the woman's coffin arrived at 9.30, while the Neuss arrived at 10.15.

Half an hour later two of the children arrived, when a portrait of the couple could already be seen at the entrance to the cemetery.

The ceremony was carried out in the open air, and then both bodies were transferred to the family vault inside the cemetery.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues.

The experts analyze the content of the electronic devices seized in the house of the couple in search of clues about the possible motive for the femicide

that occurred on Saturday in the Martindale de Pilar country.

These are cell phones and computers, whose messages, calls and other content were under the scrutiny of computer experts.

The ceremony was held outside the cemetery and only a small group of people could attend.

Meanwhile, the two domestic workers who were in the house at the time of the event testified as witnesses before the prosecutor in the case, María José Basiglio, of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) of Gender Violence of Pilar, and recalled that hours Before what happened, the businessman had breakfast in his bedroom as was "usual".

According to the sources, the witnesses said that Neuss's wife had left the property that morning as she had "many activities" and that although they did not see her leave, they did notice when she returned and went up to her room where the shots later occurred.

The employees reported that they were working on housework on the ground floor, in a sector opposite the double bedroom, when one of them heard a first noise and instantly a second.

This witness asked the other if she also heard those noises and her partner replied that she believed it was "the garbage truck."

The case shocked residents of the Martindale Country Club located in Derqui, Pilar, on Saturday noon.

Then, the employee who had heard the shots said that the truck had already passed and that for her they were "shots."

Faced with this situation, this employee went upstairs, knocked on the door of the matrimonial room and since she did not respond, she tried to open it but noticed that it was locked.

The witnesses indicated that

the daughter of the couple was called first and that she alerted her brothers

, who, like her, have their own weekend homes at the Martindale.

The sources pointed out that the first to arrive was the son of the couple named Patricio, who, not getting answers from his parents, pushed the door several times until he was able to open it.

Upon entering the bedroom, witnesses found both bodies stretched out and bloodied, while Neuss had his eyes open and was still breathing.

The remains will be in the same vault.

According to the spokesmen,

Patricio called his brother Juan, who lives about 200 meters away

and arrived quickly, and there they began to call 911, the ambulance and relatives.

None of the children stated that they could find an explanation for what happened since they agreed that

there were no conflicts or fights

, or a history of gender violence, and that their parents got along well.

For his part, Juan indicated that his parents knew that he is ill with cancer and that the night before the event he was with them and they talked about it, but clarified that he does not believe that this was a reason.

The results of the autopsies confirmed that

Neuss murdered his wife with a single shot to the head

after a struggle that left signs of defense in the woman and a bullet rubbing the hand of the femicide himself.

"The hypothesis of a suicide pact is practically ruled out. The autopsies and what was seen at the scene make us think that Neuss surprised his wife when she went to the bathroom, fought, dominated her by grabbing her hair, murdered her and then seized shot in the head, "said a judicial source.

In the case of Saravia, the doctors detected that the shot entered the rear right lateral region of the skull (behind and above the ear), exited behind the left ear, re-entered the body through the left shoulder and the The projectile was lodged in the arm, from where it was extracted with a great deformation.

According to sources, the shot was fired with the .357 Magnum caliber revolver supported and when Saravia had her head reclined on her left shoulder.

In addition, the researchers obtained a series of clues that reinforce the hypothesis that

the woman was surprised when she was in the bathroom.

The ceremony was held outdoors, at the entrance to the cemetery, due to the conditions of the pandemic.

"He had some bruises and signs of defense on his hands and forearms," added one of the investigators who detailed that Saravia's death date was estimated between 11:30 and 12 on Saturday.

Regarding Neuss, who died at 2:20 p.m. on the same day at the Austral Hospital in Pilar, the experts confirmed that he shot himself in the dressing room-anteroom of the en suite bathroom, looking at his already murdered wife.

The suicide shot entered through the right temple, its trajectory was from right to left and inclined from bottom to top;

It exited from the opposite side of the skull and embedded itself in the left side of the wooden gabled ceiling in that sector of the room.

The .357 caliber revolver was thrown at Neuss's feet and when he was kidnapped it was detected that of the six bullets he is carrying, two were hit in the drum.
