This unprecedented musical event, which will take place today and until Sunday at the Grand Théâtre de Provence, puts the spotlight on the young scene of contemporary creation.

In total, ten composers (four women and six men), aged 20 to 45, will be the subject of a world premiere, specially commissioned with the support of private donors.
“The idea came to me in July
,” explains Renaud Capuçon,
learning of the cancellation of a fortnight's tour in China which was scheduled for October.
I then asked myself what I could do not to remain inactive ... And it seemed to me that it would be good to help young composers, affected like all musicians by the health crisis.
Almost all of them suffered from order cancellations, creations that could not take place, some of which will not be rescheduled for several years. "
