The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Friday
another 381 deaths and 16,546 new cases
of coronavirus throughout the country.
This is a slight drop after yesterday's record of just over 17,000 infections.
In this way, Argentina reached 965,609 positives and remains the
fifth most affected country,
above Colombia (945,354) and only below the United States, India, Brazil and Russia.
At the head of the federal report issued by the health authority, the Secretary of Access to Health,
Carla Vizzotti
, specified that, so far, the day with the most infections was September 28, when 14,248 cases were confirmed, while the peak of deaths by date of death was registered on September 17, with 337 fatalities.

and recalled that it is important that, if some people have two or more symptoms, or have a sudden lack of smell or taste, they should consult the provincial telephones or the nearest guard to be evaluated by professionals.

"In what has to do with the containment and mitigation plan, early detection has been important and that is why the 0800 provincial has been a good strategy, through which almost 70 percent of the cases were detected, he explained.
Martorano assured that the suspected cases that were swabbed were processed in provincial laboratories.
"At the beginning we had two laboratories and now we have six, and we are working to add two new ones for the north of the province," he explained.
