(ANSA) - BANGKOK, OCTOBER 16 - Hundreds of young Thai demonstrators have already gathered at the Pathumwan Intersection, in the commercial heart of Bangkok, for the third consecutive day of protests against the government of General PrayuthChan-ocha.
Today's demonstration was moved to the last moment with messages on social media after the authorities had blocked the roads and Skytrain stations that allow access to the Ratchaprasong Intersection, about a kilometer away, where over 10,000 people gathered yesterday.
Despite the intermittent rain, crowds are expected to increase as the hours pass, in defiance of the state of emergency proclaimed by the government yesterday and the approximately 50 arrests of the movement's leaders. (HANDLE).
