(ANSA-AFP) - LONDON, OCTOBER 17 - About 28 million people in England, over half of the population, are now living under the strict restrictions imposed to cope with the wave of coronavirus cases. Prime Minister Boris Johnson's government has introduced a three-tier lockdown system to try to contain the disease. Britain is the most affected country in Europe, with over 43,000 deaths and nearly 700,000 cases.
The latest measures prohibit indoor gatherings of people from different families in the capital London and other parts of England. (ANSA-AFP).
