(ANSA) - PIETRASANTA (LUCCA), 17 OCT - Pietrasanta (Lucca), in Versilia, has the historic center with the highest concentration of art galleries in Italy and, probably, in the world: one every 40 meters. This is supported by a census of the Municipality carried out with the same galleries. There are 40 exhibition spaces in approximately 1,600 linear meters of development in the main streets. For the studio, the historical center has equal at least in Italy for the ratio of galleries to square meters. A sector, it is explained, that "grows thanks to the cultural exuberance of a city that owes its fame to the historic presence of skilled craftsmen, 50 artistic workshops for the processing of marble and bronze and artists such as Fernando Botero, Jeff Koons, Igor Mitoraj, Kan Yasuda and many others (ANSA).
