Last night (Saturday), after years of a tough battle with cancer, stylist
Gal Dark
passed away.
In a chilling post he left on Facebook on Halasartan's community page he wrote "I was diagnosed in January 2020 with a tumor in the head, the countdown has started and if you read my stuff, it means somewhere the count ended".
Apple, 46, the father of a 4-year-old boy, is the first stylist generation to emerge in the State of Israel.
The relationship with stylist Liat Assyri, his ex-wife, also led to professional collaboration and the two worked for a long time as a duo in the most coveted productions on television.
"A Star Is Born", "Survival", "The Beautiful and the Nerd" later also became Apple's close stylist of Eyal Golan.
He participated as a judge in the fashion reality show "Project Runway", presented a corner on the radio, wrote a column in a newspaper and later even set up a styling school with the best local professionals.

The tattoos that adorned his body became a hallmark over the years, and direct discourse and professional criticism accompanied him all the way, even in the days when the professionals behind the scenes as dressers, hairdressers and make-up artists were not happy to stand in front of the stage.
Apple did not hide the cancer.
She hit him several times, but the optimism and energies he took care to convey were extraordinary.
21 years ago Blue was diagnosed with colon cancer, since it was reported that he was sick four times, in which he underwent surgery three times to remove the tumor.
Last January, Apple was informed that a tumor had been found in its head.
In recent years, Apple has hardly worked in the profession and has given its all for young cancer patients so that the health care system will recognize them as a separate category and take care of adapting the treatment in a way that meets their special needs.

Fashion designer Maoz Dahan, was one of Apple's close friends, for whom Apple also served as a guide and he writes: "Everyone who knows me knows that Gal Apple is my big brother and my mentor. The most influential person for my passion and professionalism in the fashion world. 12 years of friendship and love Throughout the years this accursed disease has taken care to remind him how terrible it is. But Gal in his typical way fights with all his might. Today is a terrible day for me, I lost a friend, brother and teacher. Music producer Doron Medley also said goodbye: "My love, there will never be a tattoo on the heart. May your soul return to us free of a cancer diagnosis. Halasartan! The beauty you have sprinkled on us is enough for all of us for several incarnations."

President Reuven Rivlin also dedicated a special Facebook post to Gal: "I met Gal about a year ago at the President's House, as part of a meeting with young people from the Halasartan community during the first awareness week for young people with cancer. A true leader with inner strength. He told me then about the difficult meanings that cancer leaves behind even after recovery and the strength it takes to continue day after day, without giving up. I was sadly informed yesterday of Gal's death. I send a brave hug to his family and hope they know no more grief. The things he left behind, "I thought we should all be called. These days, even more than ever. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - please, get tested. It can save lives."

Singer Kobi Aflalo who shared hours of deep conversations with Apple at the neighborhood cafe in Givatayim wrote: "Dear Gal, how sad I am about your passing, the conversations about the coffee at Nelson Givatayim - 'Kobi will live now, there is nothing but now, you are talented, and do people good, "Let no one tell you that you do not, sing your truth '. Liat Assyri, Gal's ex-wife, uploaded a video of the two taken about two months ago, so she wants to remember it: "A huge pain, Gal passed away tonight. It is true that you were also my husband but still a friend of mine and part of me and here we are only less than two months ago. You. May his memory be blessed and may his soul be in heaven Amen. "
