(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 19 - In Italy the real social distancing is between those who are within the community and those who lack the spending capacity necessary to acquire goods that have become essential, among which, during the health epidemic, all technological devices have gained weight.
This is what emerges from the third Auditel-Censis report presented to the Senate.
In 2019 there are almost three and a half million Italian families who do not have an internet connection and who therefore were unable to carry out any type of online activity;
but there are only 300,000 families in which there is at least one employed person or a student who have no connection.
On the opposite front, according to the report, 17.4 million Italians watched video instreaming in July 2020 (a figure up 7.4% on 2019) and, of these, 11.3 million do so several times in a week.
