How to stem the new epidemic rebound?
The question is now being asked all over Europe, where many countries regularly take new restrictive measures.

While waiting for these new efforts required to produce their effects, the daily reports of Public Health France continue to testify to a regular deterioration of the health situation in the country.
This Monday evening, the authorities reported 13,243 new coronavirus contaminations recorded in 24 hours, against 29,837 on Sunday and 32,427 positive cases recorded on Saturday, which was then the last "record" since the start of the epidemic and the setting implementation of an intensive testing policy.
Monday's figures are still lower due to the closure of laboratories on Sunday.
2090 intensive care patients
In the space of 24 hours, Public Health France announced 146 new deaths linked to the coronavirus, against 85 on Sunday and 90 on Saturday.
New deaths which further increase the heavy human toll of the epidemic in the country, which now deplores 33,623 victims, including 22,711 in hospitals alone.
At the hospital, Public Health France announced this Monday evening that 11,640 patients are currently being cared for in French establishments (+743 in 24 hours).
Some 151 patients with severe forms of the disease were admitted to intensive care units, against 147 on Sunday and 175 on Saturday.
A total of 2,090 patients are currently being cared for in these specialized services, at the center of attention, while the executive is trying to avoid their saturation.
This is the first time since May 17 that more than 2,000 patients have been treated in intensive care.
The test positivity rate, which measures the proportion of positive people on all the tests carried out, continues to increase to reach 13.4% on Monday, against 13.2% on Sunday.

There remain the clusters.
The latest epidemic assessment lists no less than 1,775 clusters under investigation, i.e. 70 more than the day before.
The outbreaks grouping together at least three confirmed or probable cases of contamination within a period of seven days are considered to be clusters.
Of this total, 366 clusters have been identified in nursing homes.
