She has no symptoms but, as protocol dictates, President Emmanuel Macron's wife was in solitary confinement for a week.

Brigitte Macron, according to reports, was in contact on Thursday 15 October with a person positive for Covid-19 and with symptoms.
It will therefore not be possible for her to be present at the ceremony in memory of the beheaded teacher, Wednesday evening at the Sorbonne.
He will remain in solitary confinement and "take precautions even in his private life," his entourage reports.
