Corona Commissioner Prof. Roni Gamzo has asked the Ministerial Committee for Restricted Areas to lift the closure in some red cities and some neighborhoods in Jerusalem due to the improvement in morbidity.

This was announced today (Monday) on behalf of Prof. Gamzo.

According to a statement from Magen Israel, a request was submitted to remove the closure from Rechasim, Modi'in Illit, Beitar Illit and the Metsdorf neighborhood of Jerusalem.

In all of them early there is an improvement in traffic light scores.

According to Prof. Gamzo, according to the criteria that led to the closure and crown in those cities, the required reliefs can be allowed even though there is a fear of latent morbidity according to the rate of positive tests and the amount of tests.

However, Gamzo said that "precisely because of this it is of paramount importance to continue to adhere to the guidelines and restrictions and especially to prevent the opening of the education system without approval, and to continue to be tested.

"As is well known, young age is a major factor in the spread of the disease to the elderly and severe morbidity. Failure to do so in any city will lead to morbidity that will return them to red."

The Corona Cabinet will meet tomorrow afternoon to discuss further exit from the quarantine.
