(ANSA) - PARIS, OCTOBER 19 - The French Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, has asked for the closure of the Pantin mosque, just outside Paris.
Speaking on TF1's 8pm TG, Darmanin called for the Pantin mosque to be closed in response to the murder of teacher Samuel Paty in last Friday's chilling attack.
This weekend, after the assault, the leaders of the mosque had recognized that they had released the video in which a father of a family complained about the choice of the murdered professor to show the caricatures of Mohammed to the students.
