The rate of corona carriers in Israel has dropped to 2.7% - the lowest figure in the past week, according to the latest update published tonight (Wednesday) by the Ministry of Health on the spread of the plague in Israel.

According to the data, yesterday 1,171 new infections were diagnosed in 42,518, and by midnight 816 were reported verified in about 32,000 tests.
Yesterday, the verified rate was 2.9%, in the second it was reported at 3.8% and in the first - 3.5%.
As of 20:49 tonight, there are 19,547 active patients in Israel.
In the hospitals around the country, 1,055 patients are hospitalized, among them 596 in critical condition, 232 respirators, and 176 whose condition is defined as moderate.
So far, the plague has claimed the lives of 2,291 in the country.
In addition, there are 1,006 medical staff members who are in isolation: 141 physicians, 244 nurses, and 621 in other professions.
