This was revealed by the New York Times, underlining that the Chinese account is controlled by Trump International Hotels Management Llc, which between 2013 and 2015 paid 188,561 dollars in China.
The revelation comes as the US president tries to paint Joe Biden as "weak" towards Beijing.
