"Ségur de la santé": wage increases extended to the private sector

2020-10-22T06:16:08.722Z

The principle had been acted on in July. Branch agreements with social partners have now been signed.

Employees in the private sector, too, will benefit from the wage increases negotiated within the framework of the “Ségur de la santé”.

If the principle had been acted in July, it still remained to sign branch agreements with the social partners.

It is now done.

On Wednesday, the Federation of Private Hospitalization (FHP) signed with the CGT and FO a salary increase agreement for non-medical staff in 1,000 private hospitals and clinics.

It provides for an increase of 206 euros gross per month, or 160 euros net (a little less than the 183 euros net monthly obtained in the public) for the 150,000 non-medical employees and midwives in the private sector.

And this, whether they are in CDI or CDD, full-time or part-time (pro rata).

Payment in two installments

The payment is planned in two times, as for the public: 103 euros gross (retroactive to September 1) as soon as the funding has been allocated to the establishments by the government, and 103 euros additional

"at the same time as the public"

.

So theoretically in December, since this second payment scheduled for March was advanced last week by Jean Castex, the Prime Minister.

"This agreement will allow us to recognize the tremendous commitment of our staff," said

Lamine Gharbi, President of the FHP.

"I thank the ministry, which confirmed its funding to us and which is fully mobilized so that its payment can be made very quickly,"

he added.

This revaluation is financed through dedicated envelopes for the period from September 2020 to February 2021. It will be included in the prices of hospitals and private clinics from March 1.
