Vives receives this award because, in addition to his career as a singer, he is also an actor, television presenter, judge of “La Voz” and owner of the restaurant and music club Gaira.

Additionally, he is the founder of “Tras la Perla”, an initiative to improve the quality of life in his native Santa Marta and its surroundings with educational and environmental programs.
