(ANSA) - TOKYO, 22 OCT - The Tokyo Stock Exchange begins the session with a negative sign after the drastic downward revision of the growth in the Asia-Pacific region by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), equal to a decline of 2.2% in 2020, and the consequent parcel of the yen.
The Nikkei reference index fell 0.48% to 23,526.95, and a loss of 112 points.
On the currency market, the Japanese currency strengthens against the dollar at 104.60, and slightly above 124 against the euro.
