In Umbria close to retail and sport

(ANSA) - PERUGIA, 23 OCT - Squeeze on retail sales on Sunday and on amateur sport by the Umbria Region following the increase in Covid infections.

The president, Donatella Tesei, has in fact issued a new order to limit the opportunities for the spread of the virus.

At the moment, however, there is no form of curfew.

    Among the measures taken are the Sunday closure of commercial centers as well as all retail, food and non-food sales activities, except pharmacies, newsagents, tobacconists, monopoly goods retailers (therefore handicraft activities are excluded);

the ban on the Sunday exercise of any commercial activity carried out in public areas;

the exemption from Sunday closure, only for the first of November, of the retail trade of flowers and plants.

    All competitions and competitions recognized of regional, provincial or local interest by the Italian Olympic Committee, the Italian Paralympic Committee and the respective national sports federations, associated sports disciplines, sports promotion bodies, were then suspended in relation to the contact sports identified with the provision of the Minister of Sports of 13 October and carried out by amateur associations and societies (which will be able to continue to support individual trainings).

    It was also decided to prohibit activities carried out by associations and cultural and similar clubs, outdoors and indoors, with the exception of the administration of food and drinks up to 24 hours with consumption at the table, until 6 pm without, and in any case in accordance with the Dpcm of 18 October.

    The order will be valid until November 14th, "subject to additions due to the progress of the epidemiological situation".
