Actor Ryan Reynolds: "Now I'm a little tired. But proud"

Many people take voting for granted, and for some it is even a nuisance.
Not for actor Ryan Reynolds.
The native Canadian was allowed to cast his ballot in his adopted home, the USA, for the first time - at the age of 44.
A beautiful moment that he also captured on social networks.
He thanked his wife Blake Lively on Instagram for making his "first time" very special.
"At first it was scary, then exciting, now I'm a little tired. But proud," the actor wrote on Instagram under a photo of the couple - tagged with the hashtag #voteearly.
Lively posted an almost identical picture.
"It all happened so fast. Really fast. He was crying. I pretended I was crying. Then he called all his friends," wrote the actress, who became famous for the successful US series "Gossip Girls" .
240 million people called to vote
Reynolds, who was born in Vancouver, Canada, has been a US citizen since 2018.
The Hollywood star ("Ted", "Deadpool") has been calling on his fans to vote via Instagram for weeks.
He said in a video that the day on which he registered for his election was as important to him as Christmas day.
In the United States, about 240 million people will be called on November 3rd to elect a new president.
Challenger Joe Biden has been well ahead of Republican Donald Trump in polls for weeks (see how things stand in the White House race).
He did not reveal who Reynolds voted for.
