2020-10-23T15:24:58.133Z

The measures to stem the contagion multiply. 'Today's ordinance is no longer enough, we must decide today, not tomorrow'. Dramatic appeal by Governor De Luca: 'We are one step away from the tragedy, we need a national lockdown, Campania will do it very soon'. A tightening of measures has been announced. In Lobardia Fpontana takes responsibility for the decision on the kla Dad. A thousand new positives only in Milan. All closures region by region (ANSA)

The president of the Campania Region

Vincenzo De Luca asks the government for a national lockdown and specifies that in any case "Campania will move in this direction very soon".

"The current data on the contagion - he says - make any type of partial measure ineffective. It is necessary to close everything, except for the categories that produce and move essential goods (industry, agriculture, construction, agro-food, transport). It is essential to block mobility between regions and between municipalities. It is frankly not clear what effectiveness limited measures can have in this context. In any case Campania will move in this direction very shortly ".

There are 2280 new positives in Campania, out of 15800 swabs: a record number, never reached before.

Yesterday's survey was 1,541 cases.

This was announced by the governor of Campania, Vincenzo de Luca, live on Facebook.

The percentage of infections on tampons performed rises from 12.8 to 14.5 percent.

"We will proceed in the direction of closing everything, for the data of the infections we have, the ordinance that comes into force today is not enough. We must close everything and we must decide today, not tomorrow. We are one step away from the tragedy".

So the governor of Campania.

According to the governor of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, the bed situation in Campania is "heavy".

"The programming still allows us to hold up - he says on Facebook - but with these numbers there is no hospital system in the world capable of withstanding the shock wave"

.

"Today we hold up thanks to the sacrifice of thousands of doctors and health personnel, but within a few days we risk having the intensive care units clogged", he added.

"

It is stupid, irresponsible to say that schools should be closed last."

So the governor of Campania.

"In the face of an increase in infections such as the one we have recorded among teachers and students, the only answer that reason can give is to prevent the contagion from spreading.

The priority is not ideologisms but blocking contagions. The decisions they are not taken in the abstract but on the basis of numbers ", he added

.

The governor of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, calls into question the data to demonstrate how the opening of schools has had a heavy impact on the increase in infections.

And for this he says:

"With these data, schools will not open

. Tomorrow we will decide after an evaluation with the crisis unit".

Between before and after the opening of schools, "in the general population there was a 3-fold increase in the infection, in the range between 0 and 18 the increase was 9 times".

"We passed in the 0-5 years range from 88 positives before September 24 to 402 positives after the opening - he explained - in the range between 6 and 10 years before 57 infections, after the opening 476 infections, in the 11 range - 14 years earlier 49 infections, after 479 infections. In the 15-18 range, 82 infections before the opening and afterwards, 558 infections. Which parent worthy of the name would send their children to school with these figures? ".

"In the government there are decent people, with whom we will continue to collaborate, but also bribes and jackals. There is also an unlikely jackal minister."

Thus the governor of Campania, Vincenzo de Luca, on Fb.

"I thank Minister Speranza who collaborates and understands what Campania is, the Minister of the Interior, the Chief of Police who responded to the request to send law enforcement agencies - he said - Yesterday I had a cordial conversation with Minister Patuanelli on the methanization of Cilento ".

"

I would like to say we face this situation as men an expression that is no longer used, for sure I will not use it for a minister ...", he added.

Heavy situation also in

Lombardy

.

"Unfortunately, the contagion line is growing and there are five thousand more positives than yesterday and 350 hospitalized in intensive care and no"

said the president of Lombardy Attilio Fontana adding that in all there are 170 hospitalized patients in intensive care.

"The virus has started to circulate in a violent way - he added -

in Milan there are about a thousand new cases.".
