Violence and more violence.

The absurd social response that duplicates a family drama.

A woman was the victim of gender violence by her partner.

I report.

The police arrived to arrest him, but the man escaped.

Four hours later, he returned home to continue beating and threatening the woman.

Neighbors came to her defense.

They beat and kicked him.

Police officers intervened and handcuffed him.

But the man broke down and died at the scene.

The episode occurred in the municipality of Las Heras, in Greater Mendoza.

The 14th Prosecutor's Office, which intervenes in the case, is investigating if it is a lynching and, also, if there was a possible abuse of authority by

the police officers who could be compromised

as participants in the death.

The man who was beaten to death,

Maximiliano Alejandro Flores

(33), lived with his wife in a house on 3300 Paso Hondo street in the Mendoza commune of Las Heras.

The preliminary investigation indicates that he died in the early hours of Saturday as a result of

a neighborhood riot and in the middle of a beating

.

There were policemen at the scene.

They belonged to the same branch as the policemen who could not arrest him before because Flores ran away.

This second time, after being beaten by neighbors, they managed to handcuff him.

"Flores was very violent," neighbors told investigators.

And once again they witnessed the blows of the man to the woman.

There was already a judicial record for gender violence.

On Friday night, she was the one who reported him by calling 911. When the police arrived, they confirmed the injuries that the woman had suffered.

The prosecution requested that the arrest be carried out because Flores had not complied with a no-approach order.

It was when

the police tried to stop him, but the man ran away

.

He wanted to take the gun from one of the officers.

He did not succeed, but he was able to slip away.

The woman was left in the house in the middle of a nervous breakdown.

By court order, a policeman kept custody at the front of the house.

Four hours later, around 4.30 in the morning,

the man returned

.

And it was, according to police information,

the neighbors who began to kick and beat her

in defense of the woman.

Mendoza's is not an isolated case.

In Tucumán they lynched the main suspect in the rape and femicide of Abigail, a 9-year-old girl.

The custodial policeman asked for reinforcements as he was unable to contain the attack.

When other policemen arrived, they handcuffed the man.

Tethered,

Flores collapsed to the ground

.

He was transferred in a police mobile to the Carrillo hospital, but arrived lifeless.

His body will undergo an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

There are still no arrests for his murder.

Investigators analyze security cameras in the area and mobile phones to determine who participated in the beating.

In the next few hours, there

could be neighbors and police charged with being responsible for the murder

.

Cases of lynching or "justice by own hand" are repeated in Argentina.

Last Wednesday, in San Miguel de Tucumán, an enraged horde of people beat and kicked José Antonio “Culón” Guaymás (25), the main suspect for the rape and femicide of little Abigail Riquel (9).

Hours later, in the same city, another group of people attacked a 16-year-old teenager who had stolen a cell phone.
