Ben Zion joins the many eulogies of actor Yehuda Barkan, who passed away last weekend after falling ill in Corona.
Zion, who played the character of Ben, Barkan's son in the film series "Stolen Daddy", posted farewell words on Facebook from the legendary actor, to whom he attached pictures from the film starring them.
"One good person is, one person full of light, so many smiles, inspiration and sweetness," Zion wrote to Barkan.
"You touched us all in the deepest place of the heart, and that's how you suddenly leave. One good person is, one person full of light, we sailed together to see how beautiful the sea is. Something that started as a game - and suddenly we share the same world forever.
"One good person is, one person full of light, it's time to say thank you for all the love. Thank you for guiding me already when I was a child to find the answer. It's a time of sadness, saying hello, my stolen dad, hello to the stolen dad of the whole country .
Barkan died on the night between Friday and Saturday, at the age of 75, after his medical condition deteriorated.
He contracted in Corona last September, and was hospitalized at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
Due to his worsening condition, his family members called at the end of last month to pray for his healing.
Barkan is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Israeli Film Academy.
Upon his death he left behind two sons and two daughters from a previous marriage.
In recent years he has lived with his third wife in Moshav Beit Gamliel.
