Public service bus with broken windows: fatal accident in Mözen

In an accident between a car and a bus in Mözen in the Segeberg district, a 16-year-old was fatally injured on Saturday evening.
The young person sat in the bus, she died at the scene of the accident, as the police announced on Sunday.
Seven other bus occupants were slightly injured, one occupant was uninjured.
According to previous knowledge, the accident occurred, according to the police, because the car on the B 432 in Schleswig-Holstein from Leezen in the direction of Bad Segeberg, for an unexplained cause, turned right off the lane and hit a tree.
As a result, it was thrown back onto the lane and into the driver's side of the oncoming bus.
Among other things, there were six ambulances and several emergency doctors on site.
First, the fire brigade said that four people had been injured from the bus and that five occupants were uninjured.

The driver of the car was "initially not found," said the police.
He could not be found despite a search with thermal imaging cameras and a police helicopter.
The alleged driver only reported through his lawyer on Sunday.
The 20-year-old from the Segeberg district was then taken into police custody.
