Agis, safe cinemas and theaters, a devastating choice stop
"We express our opposition, together with a very large part of public opinion, with respect to the hypothesis provided for in the Prime Minister's Decree regarding the suspension of the activities of theaters, cinemas and entertainment venues". This was underlined by the president of Agis, Carlo Fontana, in a letter to Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and Minister Dario Franceschini. Fontana states that "entertainment venues have proved to be among the safest spaces for social gathering". "A new closure of the activities of the sector - he adds - would involve a blow that is difficult to overcome and a dramatic impact on the tens of thousands of workers and artists, already at the limit of their livelihood due to the collapse in income. It would be a devastating choice for the whole country ".
