The Hermon site joins quite a few places, national parks and reserves, the entrance to which will be allowed by prior registration.
For the first time in 50 years of operation, visitors will be able to reach the highest mountain in the country only by registering and purchasing tickets in advance on the mountain's website, in order to avoid situations of visitor congestion.
In recent years, the Hermon site has undergone a variety of upgrades and developments, for example, last winter the new cable car was launched, which provided an excellent solution for maintaining social distance even after the outbreak of the corona virus and allows the rise of nuclear families without fear.
During the summer, thousands of visitors from all over the country came to the Hermon site, but the number of visitors on a busy summer day dwarfs the number of visitors on a snowy winter day.
Restrictions and guidelines of the Ministry of Health, forced the Hermon site to make drastic changes to allow regular activity of the site in the shadow of the corona virus.
"The important good news for all residents of the State of Israel is that for the first time this winter, visitors and surfers will be forced to make a reservation / registration, purchase tickets and pay in advance on the Hermon website as soon as they decide to encrypt Hermon," said Rafael Naveh, CEO of Hermon.
Forget those queues.

An enforcement patrol will operate at the site
According to the website, visitors who do not register will not be able to enjoy spending time in the Israeli snow.
The system will operate according to a permissible quota, and once the quota is filled, visitors will be forced to postpone their arrival to another date.
Extensive investments have been made in favor of the establishment of advanced computer systems that will allow pre-registration as well as the purchase of tickets in advance.
In addition, the site will run an enforcement patrol on the guidelines that include social alienation, a mask on the nose and mouth and strict hygiene.
"On Mount Hermon it may be easier for all visitors to wear a mask and maintain hygiene because they are all wrapped and covered from head to toe, and the mask can be used as a protective layer from the extreme cold prevailing at the summit of Mount Hermon at 2,040 m."
Noted Mickey Inbar, VP of Marketing at the Hermon website.
To register in advance, go to the Hermon website and register.
