At the Chervò Golf Club SanVigilio in Pozzolengo (Brescia) the 38-year-old Englishman surpassed, with a total score of 268 (-20), thanks to a birdie in the final, the competition of compatriot Laurie Canter and Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts, both second with 269 (- 19), making its 77th edition of the tournament.
The player from Basildon (city in the county of Essex) returns to win the European Tour eleven years after his first time (Madrid Masters 2009), thus winning the second title on the maximum continental circuit.
McGowan succeeds Bernd Wiesberger, winner in 2019.
