There are quite a few exciting posts on Facebook about people who need help, however in the last week one such post has managed to overcome the apathy that most of us feel these days and has entered the hearts of many.
The reason: a smiling and sweet two and a half year old boy who just wants to go.
Gal Beechi is diagnosed with cerebral palsy that impairs his motor skills, and he needs expensive and rare surgery abroad in order to be able to walk on his own in the future.

"Our wave is a smiling, smart and loving child," says his father, Ariel. "He is diagnosed with cerebral palsy, which is manifested by increased tone in his limbs that causes significant motor difficulty - he does not sit down, he does not stand or walk alone. For his age, and thanks to that and his fighting spirit, we are very optimistic. "

Although Gal has managed to overcome a lot of difficulties in the last two years, as time goes on the spasticity (increased muscle tone) increases, causing severe pain, orthopedic problems and deformities that require orthopedic surgery followed by long and difficult rehabilitation.
Gal's parents were looking for a way to help their son, and found that he was suitable for a special spinal surgery called SDR that aims to permanently lower spasticity and allow for re-motor learning.
"The surgery will be performed in the United States by a specialist doctor in the field.
"Its cost is very high, and even higher is the cost of the significant rehabilitation that will also be performed in the United States at the same hospital for a long time," says Ariel, emphasizing that surgery and rehabilitation are Gal's only chances for independent walking.
"Therefore, despite the difficulty, we turn to the public wholeheartedly in favor of Gal."
The family is now raising NIS 900,000 for the surgery and rehabilitation that follows.
A wave of love washed over us
Ariel and Yana, Gal's mother, were very apprehensive about revealing their personal story.
"We are very private people and so far we have dealt with the situation without sharing a lot of people," says Ariel. "We did not want to immerse ourselves in questions and thoughts and we all invested in wave treatment and promotion. When we realized we would need such a high amount of money we realized The exposure on the side. "
Always optimistic.

The reactions to Gal's story showed them that they had made the right decision.
"We were flooded with a wave of love, support and a lot of reinforcements, far beyond what we expected and imagined. It really warms the heart and strengthens, and certainly not obvious at a time like this," says Ariel.
"Beyond the donations and support, two mothers of children with cerebral palsy have already approached us to tell and explain to them about the surgery, and another mother from the Krayot who suggested that her son and Gal be friends," he adds excitedly.
"Surgery and rehabilitation are Gal's only chances for independent walking."
