- BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 26 - "The second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic has started to hit Brussels in a particularly hard way".
In the city "the infection rates are among the highest in Europe. In consideration of the high and still growing number of infections, and in consultation with partners, the German presidency of the Council of the EU has decided to reduce physical meetings at the level of experts to the bare minimum. Even virtual meetings will be limited to priority topics ".
This was announced by a spokesman for the German presidency.
