Not a week has passed since the regular domestic flights were enabled in Argentina - they started on Thursday, October 22 and it was something that was eagerly awaited by the airline industry in the midst of the crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic - and there have already been
two cases of passengers
who showed up to fly having a positive Covid-19 certificate or knowing they were carrying the disease.
The first was that of a passenger who traveled to Ushuaia last week.
The second case was known today and was that of a young man who traveled to Misiones: upon arrival at his destination he was tested (since this province requires a negative certificate to enter) and it tested positive.
This is why Aerolineas Argentinas announced this Tuesday, October 27, that it will
criminally denounce
travelers who try to
evade health controls
, falsify documentation or who directly show up to fly being positive for COVID - 19.
“Less than a week ago we resumed the regular operation of Aerolineas and, although it seems difficult to believe, we have had
two cases of passengers
who showed up to
fly with a COVID-19 POSITIVE certificate
.
Faced with this situation, we want to report the following: Any passenger who shows up to fly with a positive COVID-19 certificate or with adulterated documentation to evade controls, will be criminally denounced and will not be able to board any of the Airlines flights for 5 years ", said the president of the company, Pablo Ceriani, through the social network Twitter.

It is also important that each traveler takes care of checking the specific requirements demanded by each destination since they must comply with the regulations as a condition of shipment.
"Aerolineas Argentinas requests the maximum collaboration and appeals to the goodwill of the travelers but it will not for this reason fail to act firmly with those who compromise the safety of the rest of the passengers or their own personnel", the company statement concluded.
