Bushido during the trial against Arafat Abou-Chaker in the Berlin Regional Court

The rapper Bushido, 42, tested positive for the corona virus on Tuesday evening.
His lawyer Steffen Tzschoppe confirmed the infection in response to a request from SPIEGEL.
What this means for the trial against clan boss Arafat Abou-Chaker, 44, and three of his brothers before the Berlin Regional Court is currently unclear.
Bushido should actually continue his testimony before the 38th Grand Criminal Chamber tomorrow.
Bushido's lawyer Tzschoppe said that he had already informed the court, the public prosecutor and the defense that his client was infected that evening.
The court has not yet responded.
On Monday the Bushido affair against Abou-Chaker was last negotiated.
Abou-Chaker is charged, among other things, with attempted grave robbery, dangerous bodily harm, coercion and deprivation of liberty.
He is said to have locked Bushido up, hit and insulted him in January 2018 after the rapper ended his long-term business relationship with Abou-Chaker.
Bushido is the main witness in the process.
In the criminal court Berlin-Moabit and also in the hall, a mask is required.
Spectators and media representatives have to keep their distance, lawyers and clients separate perspex panes.
Arafat Abou-Chaker was the only one in the room not to wear a mask on Monday.
All other process participants removed their masks from their faces only to speak.
Arafat Abou-Chaker has been suffering from asthma since he was three, defender Hansgeorg Birkhoff justified the defendant's abstinence from masking on Monday.
"I could never understand you aluminum hats"
Bushido himself announced in the evening via Instagram: "Even if I took all the requirements very seriously, I received a positive corona test today. I have never been able to understand you aluminum hats. Take the matter seriously and pay attention to your fellow human beings. Myself have symptoms and hope you all stay well. "
His lawyer said it was cold symptoms.
Bushido and his lawyers would of course stay away from court tomorrow.
"Nobody should wish for such an infection," said defense attorney Birkhoff in the evening to SPIEGEL.
"You have to take it seriously."
He expects that the chamber will cancel tomorrow's trial day.
He also said: "It can be assumed that the court will make the right decisions so that the hearing can continue as soon as possible."
