Against the philosophy of Photoshop

We have been confusing the history of philosophy with philosophy for so long that we have not fallen into the strange thing that - with Borges' permission - it would be to confuse the history of literature with literature.

In other words, reading an essay on the Golden Age as if we were reading a novel by Cervantes or a poem by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
