(ANSA) - ARLINGTON (USA), OCTOBER 28 - The Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series for the first time in 32 years, the final of the North American professional baseball league, beating the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 last night in Arlington in Texas and winning the series 4-2.
It is the seventh league title for the Dodgers, the sixth most successful team in history.
Far ahead the New York Yankees with 27 titles, followed by St. Louis Cardinals (11), Botston Red Sox, Oakland Athletics (9) and San Francisco Giants (8).
