The EU will mobilize 220 million euros to finance transfers of patients with Covid-19 from one country to another, in order to relieve hospitals overloaded by the second wave of the pandemic, announced Thursday the president of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

To facilitate these transfers, states

at European level
