(ANSA) - BUENOS AIRES, OCTOBER 29 - Argentina has recorded another 345 deaths related to the coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours, reaching 30,071.
This is what emerged from the latest report by the health authorities in Buenos Aires.
At the same time, there were 13,924 positive cases, raising the toll of the eight-month Covid-19 emergency to 1,130,533.
There are 5,037 people hospitalized in intensive care, with a percentage of occupancy of the beds in this sector of 64.2% throughout the country and 62.5% in the metropolitan area of BuenosAires.
An alarm has been reported regarding four Argentine provinces (Neuquén, Río Negro, Tucumán and Santa Fe) which exceeded 80% of occupancy of the beds of the most serious patients.
According to health authorities, 35% of cases are concentrated in Buenos Aires and the province.
The Ministry of Health in BuenosAires has announced that preparations are beginning for the planning of a large-scale vaccination that could begin with the most at-risk cases in the populous province of the capital, before the end of the year. (ANSA).
