The BZgA declares that antibacterial cleaning agents or cleaning cloths from the supermarket are of no benefit and that disinfectants are no substitute for cleaning as they do not remove dirt.

Instead, make sure to use separate cleaning rags in the kitchen, bathroom and toilet,
wash them

at least 60 degrees and change them regularly

Make sure that cleaning cloths dry well and quickly after use so as not to give bacteria a chance.

For many, the 60-degree wash is still the ultimate in killing germs and bacteria and should also be used on susceptible textiles: These include

You can also do without a hygiene rinse.
If there is someone in the household who has been infected with the coronavirus, the laundry should generally be washed at 60 degrees to kill the viruses.
The British NHS (Nation Health Service) also advises against shaking out the dirty laundry.

In addition, hands should be washed after the laundry has been done and wet clothes should not be left in the washing machine, as germs could multiply quickly.
But don't forget the washing machine when taking your hygiene measures: Bacteria will find a warm, humid climate here that allows them to thrive - so let the machine run once a week at at least 60 degrees on the hot cycle.
Household hygiene: fight viruses with proper ventilation
Regular ventilation is good for the indoor climate anyway and avoids the risk of mold.
But you can also reduce the risk of infection with viruses by ventilating the room.
